3Shape is looking for a motivated full-time Zuora Developer with a solid background in billing platforms to deliver effective implementation and maintenance of our Subscription management platform.

As the Zuora Developer, your contributions will be essential for the implementation and maintenance of our Subscription Management Platform worldwide. Your skills will empower you to architect solutions, take full ownership of sprint tasks, and develop, architect, and implement subscription-related processes. This role demands a professional who can seamlessly translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring quality in delivery and maintenance.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Zuora Developer to take part in the development and implementation of our subscription management systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Zuora-based solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems and optimizing billing, payments, and subscription workflows. If you are a skilled developer with an interest in innovation and a strong background in system integration and cloud technologies, we’d be delighted to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Development: the architectural design and implementation of subscription management processes, including billing, payments, and integrations with CRM, ERP, and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Microsoft D365, Shopify).
• Integration & Automation: Design and implement robust and scalable API integrations between Zuora and other enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, etc.), using tools like MuleSoft or Dell Boomi, ensuring performance, data integrity, and automation.
• Customization & Configuration: Leverage your Zuora knowledge to configure product catalogs, rate plans, and billing rules, as well as implement custom workflows within Zuora. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues to optimize system performance.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and external partners, to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Ensure smooth post-go-live support and ongoing system enhancements.
• Ownership & Leadership: Take ownership of the technical aspects of Zuora projects, from requirements gathering to final deployment. Mentor and guide junior developers and participate in project planning and sprint cycles.

Requirements:

Essential Technical Skills:

      System Integration:

• Solid experience in integrating enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP) using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Background in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance API integrations.
• Practical experience with middleware tools such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi.

     Data Management:

• Experience with data migration, including data transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, schema design, and optimization.

    Software Development & Automation:

• Proficient programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for automating workflows and integrations.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design principles and version control systems (e.g., Git).

    Cloud & SaaS Ecosystems:

• Experience with SaaS-based applications and subscription revenue models.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for hosting and scaling applications.
• Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Zendesk, and Workday for managing workflows and automation.

Desirable Skills:

Zuora-Specific Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of Zuora’s core modules (Billing, Payments, RevPro, and others).
• Experience with Zuora’s REST/SOAP APIs and troubleshooting automated workflows.
• Knowledge of Zuora’s subscription lifecycle management, including rate plans, billing rules, invoicing, and revenue recognition.

Business Process Understanding:

• Professional business understanding with the ability to understand and map business processes to technical solutions.
• Familiarity with subscription pricing strategies, amendments, and subscription lifecycle management.

Will be a plus:

• Zuora certification
• Experience working in agile development environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
