We are looking to hire an experienced Software Developer or Research Engineer with a strong background in computer vision and deep learning applications to elevate our 3D reconstruction models. Join a team of innovative engineers working on software for 3D dental scanners. The role involves developing AI approaches to enhancing our 3D models as well as regular software development activities, such as algorithm development and optimization, implementing new features, and maintaining the codebase through bug fixes and optimizations. This is all in close collaboration your team as well as with hardware and embedded software specialists on the dental scanner side.

This role places you at the heart of our technological advancements within Product Creation, namely TRIOS & SCANNER SW, offering the chance to shape the trajectory of our innovative products and software applications.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Development: Lead the design and implementation of advanced solutions in point-cloud data modelling and mesh-level processing.

Deep Learning Expertise: Apply your deep learning tool box to solve complex tasks for our 3D reconstruction models.

Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including software developers, data and research scientists as well as domain experts, to shape our products.

Innovation & Patents: Aid in the creation and submission of patents to protect intellectual property and solidify the company’s position in the field.

Innovation to Application: Transition prototypes from the latest research into practical, real-world applications.

Qualification

• Education: PhD in Computer Vision or Computer Graphics, or a closely related field. Equivalent engineering degree is also fine.
• Technical Expertise: Documented experience in:
• Point-cloud data structures and processing.
• Mesh-level processing and representation techniques.
• Deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in C#, Python, C++, or other relevant programming languages.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Advanced analytical skills with a creative approach to addressing complex technical problems.
• Communication Skills: Articulate written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Collaboration: A strong collaborator who thrives in an active, interdisciplinary environment.
• Advantageous: Experience in software development and architectural patterns of large scale software applications.

Interview Process
