3Shape is looking for a talented Technical Project Manager to join our newly created Patient Engagement development team. You will be part of building a new team with a heavy technical focus and will be part of accelerating development of an expanding suite of solutions building a truly unique and best-in-class experience for patients at dental clinics worldwide.
The Patient Engagement team has been established to accelerate our software offerings for helping patients in achieving improved dental care. Currently 3Shape has multiple development teams that provide effort towards patient solutions. Due to market traction in this area 3Shape is establishing a focused and dedicated team for this area. Initially a big part of this role will be leveraging the existing solutions and building a roadmap that is supported by 3Shape’s extensive software platform.
We are looking for a technically anchored project manager with a get things done mindset. You will help run the technical roadmap, overall planning and manage project dependencies together with other teams and their project managers. You will become a key part of building your team’s culture and will be part of shaping the future path for our patient universe.

This role places you at the heart of our technological advancements within Product Creation, namely the Patient Engagement team anchored in the UNITE stream, offering the chance to shape the trajectory of our innovative products and software applications.
What You’ll Do
Establish and refine future project roadmap in cooperation with R&D stakeholders.
Build a firm understanding of both scope and technical context of patient related projects to help guide decisions regarding project scopes.
You will be talking with developers, architects, project and product managers across teams, value streams and country boundaries. This will be both internal and external stakeholders related to software development.
Facilitate knowledge sharing between development teams to ensure context is shared and aligned.
Bug reports and other curve-ball activities that needs your A-game to progress with as little impact on end-users and development initiatives as possible.
Coordinate and manage project dependencies with other software and hardware teams and projects. Occasionally represent the team from the technical side during decision meetings with key stakeholders.
Manage the technical roadmap and development plan for the team assuring we are working towards vision. Prepare, facilitate, contribute and document ideations, priority discussions and decisions.

What We’re Looking For
Experience from project or team leadership in a software development and/or project-based setting preferably within backend software engineering.
Experience within organisations that deliver with a B2C focus where you bring an understanding of what regular users can accept and what they cannot accept.
A self-driven team player with enthusiasm for collaborating in a highly technical research and development setting. Curious about technology and interest to understand how things work.
Someone who is not afraid on hands-on work next to strategic and tactical efforts. For example: Janitoring the roadmap. Preparing, facilitating and documenting stakeholder meetings. Tidy up in the bug-tracker.
