About the role & team
Would you like to be part of a great team setting the commercial direction in one of the fastest growing MedTech companies in France? 3Shape France is expanding its team, and we are looking for a Business Development Manager who will play an integral role in continuing the transformation of the commercial function for 3Shape France.
3Shape is an international company creating award-winning 3D scanning solutions with 2,000+ employees, headquarters in Copenhagen (DK), and with offices all over the world. You will be responsible for understanding market dynamics across both the clinic and lab segments, segmenting customer needs, and ensuring that field resources are deployed where they can have the greatest commercial impact. Acting as a bridge between central commercial strategy and local field execution, you will translate market intelligence into clear priorities and actionable plans for the France team. You will be part of the 3Shape France team, working alongside a supportive group of professionals who are dedicated to achieving common goals, in a dynamic environment where collaboration, open communication, and mutual respect are highly valued.
Your success will depend on your ability to:
• Segment the customer base to prioritize accounts and territories based on business potential and strategic fit
• Define the allocation of field resources to maximize commercial impact across France • Build and execute activity plans aligned with commercial priorities
• Support the Country Manager France in reporting, planning, and various strategic tasks
• Act as a key liaison in a matrix organization, aligning cross-functional teams around clear priorities without direct authority
• Monitor and report on performance KPIs, providing structured insights and recommendations to central teams
• Maintain and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and distributors
• Support in arranging and participating in relevant events and exhibitions across France
Who you are:
• 2-5 years of experience in Business Development, Commercial Strategy, or Sales Operations
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, comfortable working with KPIs, market data, and performance reporting
• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills, you know how to bring people together and drive alignment in a complex organization
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, collaborating across teams and functions
• B2B experience within medical device, IT, or other technically complex products/solutions
• Experience working with CRM platforms and reporting tools
• MSc or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, relevant experience may compensate
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), and fluent in French (written and spoken)
• Highly organised, with a structured approach to planning and execution
• Curious and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in the dental industry and digital health technologies
