About the role:

We are looking for a Manual Test Engineer to join our team and contribute to delivering stable, high-quality software across web and desktop applications within our platform named Unite.

3Shape Unite is a cutting-edge dental platform that seamlessly integrates various features developed by 3Shape and its partners into one unified solution. The project addresses critical technical and business challenges across various system domains, including:

· Managing all aspects of data storage and exchange between web and desktop applications within the 3Shape ecosystem.

· Joining 3D modules into a single framework with consistent UI and workflows.

· Providing users access to numerous labs, apps, and partner integrations through a coherent interface etc.

By consolidating these features into one cohesive platform, 3Shape Unite streamlines the dental workflow, making it easier for practitioners to manage their work efficiently and effectively.

In your role as a Test Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product stakeholders and release management to ensure smooth delivery and early risk detection. You will be involved in validating complex features, analyzing requirements, and improving testing processes.

As the majority of teams at 3Shape, all teams involved in the Unite project utilize the Scrum methodology as their primary approach to software development.

Areas of responsibility:

• Perform manual testing of features and bug fixes, ensuring product quality and stability

• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders

• Create and maintain test documentation based on requirements

• Identify areas for test automation and contribute to improving testing processes
  
  

To succeed in your role, you should possess the following skills and competencies:

• 3+ years in manual testing

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies

• Hands-on work with virtual machines (VMware, VirtualBox)

• API testing using tools like Postman

• Web and desktop application testing

• Ability to analyze requirements and identify potential risks early

• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL

• Experience in creating test documentation

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

• English level: Intermediate or higher

Experience with the following technologies/tools will be a plus:

• Client-server applications testing

• Web application testing

• Document management systems (Jama, SharePoint or similar)
