Sr. Manager, Professional Education
About the Position

The Senior Manager, Professional Education is responsible for leading 3Shape’s clinical education strategy for North America. This role oversees the development and execution of educational programs that support product adoption, drive customer proficiency, and elevate clinical excellence across the 3Shape ecosystem. This role will manage the company’s professional education and KOL/influencer strategy, build meaningful relationships with top clinical and industry voices, and ensure their expertise strengthens 3Shape’s brand and market presence. Additionally, this role oversees in person instrumentation and workflow training at the 3Shape Academy, ensuring exceptional onsite learning experiences for dental professionals, labs, and partners. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with experience in clinical training, educational program development, and industry influencer engagement—someone who is energized by shaping content, enabling customers, and collaborating closely across Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute a comprehensive education strategy to support 3Shape’s clinical and operational training needs across North America.
· Lead creation of curricula, certification pathways, hands on workshops, and digital learning modules for clinicians, dental labs, and key partners.
· Partner with Product Management and Clinical teams to ensure education content is accurate, evidence based, and aligned with product innovation roadmaps.
· Track educational performance metrics, learner outcomes, and program adoption to inform continuous improvement.
· Oversee 3Shape Academy ensuring all activities align strategically and deliver an exceptional participant experience
· Develop and lead 3Shape’s Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and influencer engagement strategy for North America.
· Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with top clinicians, educators, and digital dentistry influencers.
· Partner with KOLs on content development, speaking engagements, educational programs, webinars, and product feedback initiatives.
· Manage contracts, deliverables, and performance metrics to maximize value and compliance.
· Partner closely with Marketing to integrate education programs into go to market strategies.
· Work with Sales leadership to align training with customer needs and product adoption goals.
· Ensure cohesive messaging and clinical accuracy across all educational touchpoints.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of relevant experience, 3+ years vendor/KOL management experience preferably in the medical device industry.
· Dentistry and/or medical device experience a plus.
· Strong knowledge of key laws and regulations impacting the medical device industry.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the analytical ability to translate data into actionable business process improvements.
· Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to interface effectively with various cross-functional groups with proven ability to collaborate and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
· Excellent organizational and project management skills.
· A creative individual with strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior management and external high-profile healthcare professionals.
· Self-starter with ability to take leadership in unstructured environment.
· Ability to travel up to 25%.
