About the role:
The Business Process Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that support processes and platform initiatives are well designed, compliant, and consistent across the organization. This role is accountable for process documentation, release governance, and compliance assurance. By testing processes and initiatives before deployment, the specialist safeguards quality and ensures that only clear, compliant, and fit-for-purpose releases go live.
Areas of responsibility:
Process Design & Documentation
Develop, maintain, and improve support processes to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance
Identify, map, and document the global Support processes, including inter-departmental workflows impacting the Support organization
Translate complex procedures into clear, user-friendly documentation.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure all processes meet internal standards, industry regulations, audit requirements and represent customer support during external audits
Own and manage release governance, ensuring proper approvals and compliance checks are in place before deployment.
Release Readiness
Test and validate processes, tools, and initiatives before release.
Confirm that all changes are fit for deployment and aligned with quality standards.
Escalate and prevent releases that do not meet readiness or compliance requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and recommend improvements.
Partner with stakeholders to align processes with business needs and compliance goals.
Reporting & Communication
Provide clear reporting on release readiness and compliance issues.
Communicate risks, blockers, and compliance deviations to stakeholders.
To succeed in your role, you should possess the following skills and competencies:
Proven experience in process design, governance, or compliance, preferably within support platforms (Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Genesys Service Cloud) or service operations.
Strong knowledge of quality management, compliance frameworks, and release governance practices.
Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex processes.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Experience testing processes and tools before deployment (UAT, quality checks, or similar).
Attention to detail and ability to act as a “gatekeeper” for quality and compliance.

Stakeholders trust process readiness reports and rely on clear escalation when issues arise.
