Join 3Shape, a Copenhagen-based tech company innovating digital dentistry. We’re looking for two UX Designers with different profiles to help design intuitive, high-quality software used by dental professionals worldwide. 

You’ll work closely with Product Management, R&D, and domain experts, owning design from concept to implementation while testing and validating solutions through user feedback. We expect that you will be responsible for everything from concept to final implementation.

You’ll help maintain an effective design system, create polished interfaces and prototypes, and contribute to improving the digital dentistry experience as part of a collaborative team of UX designers, product managers, and a large R&D organization, reporting to the UX Team Lead

1) UX Designer with a high focus on coherent user journeys

A solid blend of user experience and interface design

What you’ll do:

• Translate complex dental workflows into intuitive user journeys

• Conduct user research, map flows, and define interaction patterns

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and domain experts

• Design wireframes and UI concepts from early discovery to final delivery

• You will test and validate design choices to guarantee quality while refining design solutions according to user feedback and data

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products

• Deep understanding of user-centered design and usability principles

• Experience working with complex or professional software

• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints

2) UX Designer with a high focus on user-interface design

User-interface-centered role with a passion for prototyping, graphics, and aesthetics

What you’ll do:

• Design polished, high-quality interfaces for a professional software platform

• Create interactive prototypes to explore and validate design solutions

• Work closely with engineers to ensure accurate implementation

• Contribute to and evolve our design system

• Refine visual language, components, and micro-interactions

• Push UI quality while maintaining consistency and scalability

• Iterate on design solutions based on user feedback and data.

What we’re looking for:

• At least two years of experience emphasizing UI design

• Great skills in design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma)

• Strong visual design sensibility and attention to detail

• Comfortable iterating quickly and testing ideas through prototypes

Bonus if you have experience with

• AI-driven products and using AI as an aid in your work (e.g. for prototyping)

• UX writing and crafting clear, user-friendly micro copy

• User testing, usability studies, and validation of design decisions

Qualifications

• Background in Design Engineering, IT University, or similar

• Experience in designing digital products or platforms

• Comfortable working in cross-functional, agile teams

• Experience and interest in Med-tech, or complex technical products
