About the role:
We are looking for a Test Manager who is passionate about quality, leadership, and continuous improvement. This person will play a key role in ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on manager with a strong background in software testing and automation, especially API testing. They are capable of translating strategic testing goals into actionable plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth execution of all testing activities.
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and process ownership, someone who can effectively manage day-to-day testing operations while also driving improvements in testing efficiency, automation coverage, and quality practices across projects.
Areas of responsibility:
Manage and coordinate all testing activities within assigned projects.
Translate strategic test approaches defined by department into actionable test plans and activities.
Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Track, document, and report on test progress, quality metrics, and defect trends.
Investigate and resolve reported quality issues in collaboration with product and development teams.
Define and analyze test metrics to identify trends and improvement areas.
Ensure that all test documentation (test plans, test cases, reports) is complete, accurate, and aligned with project goals.
Manage test resources, workloads, and priorities to ensure timely delivery.
Oversee risk management activities within testing projects, ensuring proper escalation and mitigation.
Provide guidance, training, and support to QA engineers, promoting best practices in testing and automation.
Drive the implementation of Shift-Left testing practices and continuous process improvements.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality test execution across functional and non-functional areas.
Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality goals.

To succeed in your role, you should possess the following skills and competencies:
Has solid experience in planning, executing, and overseeing testing activities to ensure product quality, compliance with requirements, and on-time delivery.
Possesses practical knowledge of test automation, particularly in API testing, using tools such as Postman, Swagger, and JMeter.
Can effectively track, document, and report quality levels, analyze test outcomes, and ensure timely issue resolution in collaboration with development and product teams.
Understands how to define and monitor testing metrics, identify trends, and propose improvements that enhance quality and efficiency.
Is able to recognize and manage risks within testing activities, maintaining clear communication and proactive follow-up with all stakeholders.
Has experience in developing, updating, and improving QA procedures, including documentation and processes for issue investigation and resolution.
Contributes to building quality-focused processes and supports the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement across teams.
Is familiar with test management and defect tracking tools (TestRail, Jira, Azure DevOps) and understands how to integrate testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
Has a good technical understanding of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, as well as experience working with Windows and Linux environments.
Is confident working with data structures and formats such as XML, JSON, and HTML.
Enjoys mentoring and supporting QA Engineers, helping them strengthen their skills and align with team goals.
Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
Communicates clearly and confidently, with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to build strong cross-functional relationships.
Pays close attention to detail, maintaining a consistent commitment to quality in all aspects of work.
Is capable of managing multiple priorities, staying organized, and delivering results under time constraints.
Promotes a supportive and high-performing team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and teamwork.
