3Shape Audio is on a journey in transforming the hearing aid industry in working digitally to improve the production of custom fit hearing aids for the convenience of the patients. The journey started around 25 years ago, and now we are on a mission to disrupt the market using AI to bring the production even closer to the patients.

Now we are expanding our cloud services team focusing on custom in-ear products for the hearing aid industry. You will join a highly skilled and motivated international team developing the next generation of service-oriented CAD/CAM Audio Solutions.

You will be based in our Kyiv office and become part of a well-established cross-country team with a strong engineering culture, high degree of autonomy, and close collaboration with colleagues in other locations.

What You’ll Do

As a Software Developer with Cloud Experience, you will:

• Design, develop, and run cloud services for the hearing aid industry

• Work end-to-end: from requirements analysis, through service and infrastructure design, to implementation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement

• Design, build, and evolve RESTful APIs used by other services and client applications

• Work with Azure cloud services (including ServiceBus and CosmosDB) to build scalable and resilient solutions

• Work with Angular to develop/improve Web UI

• Containerize and run services using Docker, and participate in CI/CD setup via GitHub Actions

• Contribute to code quality through automated testing (XUnit, NUnit), code reviews, and clean coding practices

• Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and other engineers in an agile setup

What You Bring

We are looking for a candidate with strong engineering fundamentals and a cloud mindset. You’ll be successful in this role if you have most of the following:

Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience as a software developer with C#/.NET

• Solid hands-on experience with .NET (Core) and ASP.NET Core

• Strong understanding of multi-threading and concurrent programming in .NET

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, ideally including ServiceBus and CosmosDB

• Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and implementation

• Practical experience with Docker and CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions)

• Experience writing automated tests (XUnit, NUnit)

• Good command of spoken and written English

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field (or equivalent experience)

• Familiarity with agile practices (Kanban, continuous integration, test-driven mindset)

Nice-to-have:

• Frontend experience with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS

• Desktop experience with WPF, XAML, Prism

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code

• Exposure to Domain-Driven Design and event/message-driven architectures

• Experience with CosmosDB and caching solutions

• EF Core with MS SQL

• Knowledge of OpenAPI
