About the role:

We are looking for a skilled Scrum Master & Team Lead to drive Agile processes and provide People management for UA colleagues in 2 DevOps teams: Developer Experience and Cloud Platform.

The goal of the Developer Experience team is to enable ~400 software developers in 3Shape to work efficiently and to ship production-ready software products to 3Shape customers whenever they want, through a fully automated delivery pipeline.

Cloud Platform team is working on setting the standards for DevOps in Azure including better focus on Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and assisting the teams in overseeing the infrastructure.

Big part of your tasks will come from the roadmap defined together with software developers from all over the organization. Examples include major migration TeamCity to GitHub Actions and development of shared platform for running cloud products.

At 3Shape, software development is done by self-organizing agile teams, using Scrum as our primary development methodology.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a collaborative and effective work environment.
• Cultivate an agile mindset in 2 DevOps teams, focusing on continuous improvements and reaching shared goals
• Drive teams’ development through recruitment, 1:1s, and performance reviews
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
• Shield the team from external disruptions and distractions
• Coordinate workflows with other teams and key stakeholders
• Provide coaching and mentorship on Agile principles and best practices

To succeed in your role, you should possess the following skills and competencies:

• A background in Software Engineering and/or Computer Science
• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master within DevOps or software development teams
• 2+ years of experience as a People manager
• Solid knowledge of Agile frameworks and practical application
• Understanding of deployment processes in Web and Desktop software development
• Basic expertise and motivation to understand overall principles of DevOps and Cloud technologies, such as CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, Azure services etc.
• Full-time presence in Kyiv
• Fluent in English (level B2 and above)
