About the role
We are looking for an experienced Soft Skills Internal Support Trainer to join our team of 100+ employees in Customer Support organization. The primary focus of this role is to enhance the quality of support delivery by continuously improving employees’ communication and interpersonal competencies. The role involves designing, implementing, and monitoring soft skills training programs for both new hires and existing employees, in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
Areas of responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain soft skills training programs for new and existing Support employees (e.g., communication, empathy, active listening, conflict resolution, customer engagement)
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and coaching programs aimed at improving Support delivery quality
- Collaborate closely with Support Quality Assurance, Support Management and other stakeholders to identify skill gaps and performance trends
- Track and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives, monitor improvement over time, and adjust content and approach as needed
- Identify training needs and challenges, develop mitigation plans, and ensure continuous improvement in employee performance
- Prepare and maintain training documentation, including materials, reports, progress dashboards, and feedback summaries
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and customer-centric communication within the Support teams.
- Stay current with best practices and trends in support excellence, customer experience, and employee engagement.
You should possess the following competencies:
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience (1+ years) as a Soft Skills Trainer, or similar role within a technical support or customer service environment; Call or Contact Center.
- Strong background in training design, facilitation, and evaluation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Solid understanding of customer support operations and KPIs
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Fluency in English (verbally and in writing)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Soft Skills Training & Development (e.g., Train-the-Trainer, L&D, Coaching) is a plus
- Experience in creating e-learnings via DOCEBO platform, familiarity with LMS or training management tools is an advantage
