The Team

Our development team consists of 5 different nationalities – and we don’t mind having more!

Our team is distributed evenly between Denmark and Ukraine, including two UX designers who help us understand, analyze, and design workflows that work smoothly for the users.

About our teamwork:

• We work with Scrum and continuously inspect and improve our processes and how we work.
• Our Product Owner is close to the team and the product, and we value conversation and understanding over detailed specifications.
• Collaborating (and having fun) together in our online tools is second nature to us.

The Project

The product is a web-based application with complicated business logic and plays a crucial part in the everyday work life of our professional customers.

It has a large legacy code base which was taken over in an acquisition. We are managing the legacy by running it in modern technology using Docker containers and Kubernetes and elastic databases in Azure cloud.

We are improving the product by incrementally extracting and adding services to ASP.NET core services written in C# and replacing the front-end page by page with Blazor. All new features are implemented in new technologies. The infrastructure and deployment are managed completely as code, using Pulumi and Helm. We have built a fully automated test pipeline and are releasing every sprint - and we have an ambition to increase that frequency.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with excellent programming skills and the successful candidate demonstrates most of the following qualifications and experience:

Personal Skills

• Motivated by working in an agile environment where trust, collaboration, and having fun is key.
• Interested in continuously improving the processes and ways of working in the team.
• Curious, have good energy, drive and enthusiasm and share our passion for providing high-quality and innovative solutions.
• Not afraid to challenge and debate with an open mind within the team to ensure that the best solution emerges. Asks for help when needed.
• Enjoys both sharing own knowledge and learning from others, while supporting and acting like a mentor for more junior teammates.

Technologies and Tools

• 5+ years of experience as a software developer with relevant technologies.
• Experience with web applications, cloud software, service architectures, etc. is a must.
• Feel at home in C# and ASP.NET core.
• Interested in creating and delivering complete features - from frontend through backend to infrastructure.

• Experience with some of the following is considered a plus:
• Blazor, ASP classic, REST, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL Server, NoSQL, Docker, Pulumi, Kubernetes, Helm, PowerShell
• GitHub Actions, Visual Studio, ReSharper, JIRA

• These topics should be an integrated part of your mindset:
• Infrastructure-as-Code
• Continuous delivery
• Fully automated testing
