As the Director of Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's success by leading the development and execution of procurement strategies in the dental medical device sector. You will be responsible for managing a global team, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing Strategies: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure a reliable supply of high-quality materials while optimizing costs and mitigating risks.
• Global Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a global procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Regulated Environment: Oversee procurement activities in a regulated environment, ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and compliance with applicable regulations (FDA, ISO, etc.).
• Negotiation Skills: Exhibit exceptional negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Interpersonal Skills: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing, to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
• Direction Setting and Motivation: Set clear procurement goals and objectives aligned with the company's growth trajectory. Motivate and guide your team to consistently achieve high performance standards.
• Best-in-Class Experience: Leverage your extensive experience in similar roles within the medical device industry to bring best-in-class practices to the company's procurement processes.

You will work with a global team located at our factory in Szczecin, Poland, and Central Copenhagen. The team is fully responsible for all direct materials and in process of engaging indirect categories.

It is a very diverse team with a lot of energy and a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in procurement and supply chain roles within the regulated industry, with full responsibility.
• In-depth understanding of global sourcing strategies, procurement processes, and supply chain management.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated track record of successfully leading and developing teams.
• Technical proficiency in medical device components and materials.
• Ability to drive change, foster innovation, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD) are a plus.
