About the role 

The primary responsibility of this newly created position is to both lead and support important business initiatives/projects that have been identified by Account Management and senior local and global commercial leaders.  The projects will vary in scope (across the entire enterprise or applicable to a single reseller/partner), duration, level of complexity and impact.  The primary goal of all programs will be to enable the US team to generate increased revenue through our reseller partners.    The use of data analytics, structured program management skills, effective communication skills and a keen understanding of the business will ensure success.  Potential projects could include:  Collateral alignment with 3Shape and Reseller Partner organizations, monitor and evaluate remote installation project, understanding and supporting 3Shape employees with managing partner inventory and others.  The individual will need to quickly establish stakeholder support and then continue to ensure organizational alignment.


Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead or support organizational initiatives/projects that result in meeting or exceeding organizational goals
    • If assigned to leading a project, then takes full accountability for the planning, resourcing, developing and implementing according to project objectives and organizational goals, while taking direction from organizational leaders
    • Provides project outcomes according to established timelines, within budget and with accuracy and efficiency
    • Provide regular updates as to progress, challenges, obstacles, wins
    • Understands and communicates interdependencies with other 3Shape departments or organizations, risks associated with reseller/partners, and other factors that could significantly influence outcomes
    • Act as a liaison to the organization—the single source of knowledge and progress related to assigned initiatives
    • Ensures appropriate analytics, documentation, records, data, observations that inform the direction of the project
    • If acting as a supporting team member in another project initiative, fully participates and provides data and insights necessary for success.  Fully aligned to ensuring success.


  • Provide important insights and recommendations as to commercial opportunities
    • Learns 3Shape North American business understanding challenges, market conditions, company/global priorities, reseller partner relationships
    • Use the company’s CRM as the “source of data” in order to inform recommendations
    • Identifies critical internal and external stakeholders and develops plan to successfully manage various perspectives
    • Able to effectively present progress, results, etc. at any time during the project duration


  • Provide 3Shape’s field organization with additional tools, insights and programs to ensure success
    • Understands and establishes relationships with the entire territory organization
    • Acts as a resource to territory managers and its leaders
    • Develops impactful resources, tools, communications that enable the territory organization to more effectively manage their reseller/partner relationships
    • Willing to participate in local sales events, tradeshows and meetings that would advance the acceptance and implementation of the project/initiative.

Note:  This position is based in Warren, New Jersey; however for the ideal candidate we may consider a remote opportunity.  

To succeed in this position, you will need to:


Required Education and Experience:

  • A 4-year degree from an accredited institution in business or business-related
  • A minimum of 2+ years in a sales function, preferably in a B2B or indirect sales environment
  • Experience leading complex project initiatives
  • Experience using CRM and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team setting


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • An MBA from a highly reputable institution
  • Consulting experience
  • Good understanding of dental clinic operation and dental industry
  • Experience in or with global organizations
