Here is an opportunity to play a key role in developing digital diagnostics solutions in the dental clinic. Our vision is to use digital technology to improve the quality and efficiency of dental diagnostics as it is happening millions of times in dental clinics around the world every day. We expect that this will heighten prevention and allow patients to be more engaged in their own oral health. As our new Program Manager in Diagnostics, you will be a central person in bringing our vision to live!
On an everyday basis, you will work with a diverse group of project managers, product managers, clinical researchers, AI specialists, software developers, regulatory affairs specialists, and more. You will have to manage the innovative edge while making sure that our solutions are thoroughly documented, and quality proven as reliable medical devices that dental professionals and patients can rely on.
Needless to say, you will be highly visible in this position of strategic importance. You will have frequent interaction with 3Shape’s executive management team and report directly to a Senior Director of R&D.
The role
In this role you will plan and coordinate the future diagnostic solution – from development to market. This involves already ongoing activities and start new initiatives. To succeed in this role, you will be a part of a product team and use your skills within program management, including stakeholder management and coordination to ensure that the right activities are prioritized, aligned and on track across departments. This position calls for an outgoing personality that gets energy from networking and gathering information in the organization.
You will be coordinating a portfolio of projects and report directly to the Senior Director in R&D Software.
Your responsibility
- Aligning multiple projects to ensure a coherent prioritization and progress of ongoing activities
- Make sure we have the right projects and break down high-level requirements into individual project requirements
- Maintain overall timeline and risk analysis and report of product deliverables to stakeholders and the executive management team
- Maintain Design History File, help Regulatory Affairs on submitting product registrations, and participate in audits when needed
Your profile
In this role, we seek a generalist with proven experience in project and program management. You have a track record of achieving concrete results in other companies through your skills within negotiation, collaboration, and an ability to lead through influence. You do have an ability to overall understand technical issues within IT, data analysis, clinical research to have a good dialogue with developers. Since our medical device products range from class I to IIb (EU) or 1 to 2 (US), experience with medical device and how to act in a regulated environment is a clear advantage.
In summary, your profile
- A master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Bioinformatics, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong stakeholder management skills and organizational savvy
- Experience with program/project management and software development approaches
- Product development experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills
- Medical device experience is strongly preferred
In addition, you have a track record of achieving concrete results in other companies. You have proven negotiation skills, collaboration skills and an ability to lead through influence.
