We are looking for a skilled Product Manager who will be building industry leading cloud software solutions for dental professionals around the world. You will be an important part of the Platform Product Management team, where you will take part in both shaping the strategic direction and executing on the product development of 3Shape’s end-user facing web and app solutions. You will set the vision, define the roadmap and drive adoption. In your role, you will focus on understanding the needs of the dental professionals who want to take full advantage of digital aids. You will turn this understanding into user stories and development tasks for our software engineering teams and ensure delivery through close communication and dialogue with software developers, architects, and project managers. Further, you will play a key role in driving adoption of newly developed products and features.

Your profile

• A background in science, engineering, technology or business
• Min. 3 years of software product ownership experience ideally in connection with a cloud software product
• You are curious and are always looking for ways to improve things. You don’t see problems; you see possible solutions
• You cope well with changes and ambiguity and see this as an opportunity in a rapidly changing industry
• You have flair for computer technology, user interface design and the ability to translate customer and market needs into successful products
• You are driven and enjoy working independently while being able to build strong relationships with colleagues, users and business partners
• You are a great team player, who is energized by collaborating cross-functionally with many different stakeholders to manage interests, goals and priorities
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Your key responsibilities

Together with a strong team you will…

• Understand how dental professionals work with and without the use of digital solutions
• Explore and analyse customer needs, market dynamics and competition to define the product development priorities and roadmap
• Act as product owner by conveying knowledge to engineering teams by authoring use case, scenarios, and requirements
• Provide guidance on technical design and implementation decisions
• Collaborate with UX designers to optimize the user experience of the solutions about to be developed
• Facilitate early testing of new solutions with real users and solicit feedback
• Manage the life-cycle of cloud software solutions already in market in close collaboration with Customer Care and R&D
• Support product launch activities in close cooperation with Marketing, Customer Care and Academy.

Key for success in this role is effective cooperation with stakeholders ranging from end-users, sales, marketing, 3Shape engineering teams and executive management.
