From the strategic product roadmap, through product messaging and launch to the commercial enablement of the sales teams your role is to launch innovative products that users want to buy.

Your role

You will together with the other team members…

• Launch new products in the marketplace and ensure organizational readiness to maximize commercial success.
• Responsible for the full product life-cycle commercial activities keeping the product top-of-mind with resellers, partners, and end-users.
• Developing campaigns and marketing communication plans in collaboration with Marketing.
• Understand our customers and their buying process.
• Develop competitive product positioning and pricing.
• Develop innovative business models, such as SaaS.
• Responsible for general market analysis, customer surveys and competitor surveillance.
• Enable our sales teams and distribution partners with excellent product presentations, product demos, and commercial product training.
• Deliver thought-leading and product-oriented content for web, print and other communication channels working closely with marketing communication and industry publications.
• Contribute to the product roadmap, working closely with technical product managers.
• Travel frequently to end-users, exhibitions, and conferences (around 20-30 days of travel per year, primarily in Europe and the US).

Key for success in this role is effective cooperation with stakeholders ranging from end-users, resellers, partners, sales, marketing, other 3Shape engineering teams and executive management.

Qualifications

• A commercial background or a technical background with commercial experience – preferably at a master level.
• At least 5 years of experience from a position in product marketing/product management or other commercial positions, working with software or medical products. There is an opportunity to scope the role differently, depending on your level of experience.
• Documented experience working with areas like new pricing, product launches, campaigns, communication, SaaS business models.
• Strong communicator that can identify important elements in complex issues and present them effectively using written, verbal, and visual communication.
• Ability to work in a complex business environment and maintain the interests, goals, and priorities of many stakeholders.
• Excellent spoken and written English is a must.
• Knowledge about dental or medical products is a plus, but not a requirement.
• A great team player who is energized by interacting and collaborating cross-functionally with many different personalities and backgrounds.
• An open and curious mind looking to explore a rapidly changing industry.
