At 3Shape, we are looking for a skilled and visionary Product Manager with a passion for creating a world class cloud software for dental labs. As Product Manager for Cloud Software, you will be an important part of the Lab Product Management team and setting direction for the global lab business in 3Shape to the benefits of thousands of labs across the globe.

3Shape offer the world’s most sold digital lab solutions. You will be responsible for driving this continued success by understanding customer needs and making cool new products. You will engage with customers all over the world, and work closely with our colleagues across the organization in R&D, Marketing, Sales, Academy and Customer Care.

The position

You will set the vision, define the roadmap, and drive adoption

In your role you will focus on understanding the needs of the dental lab who want to take full advantage of digital aids. You will turn this understanding into user stories and development tasks for our engineering teams and ensure delivery through close communication and dialogue with software developers, architects, and project managers. Further, you will play a key role in driving adoption of newly developed products and features.

Your role

You will together with the other team members…

• Explore customer needs, analyze markets and competition to define product visions.
• Define the product roadmaps and requirements for the cloud software.
• Be responsible for the entire product user experience.
• Drive the development of new features and functionalities in close collaboration with R&D.
• Ensure a successful onboarding experience in close collaboration with our Academy team.
• Develop the product strategy.
• Support product launch activities in close cooperation with our marketing, sales, customer care, and country organizations.
• Build relationships and work with key opinion leaders, end-users, and partners across the world.
• Travel frequently to end-users, exhibitions, and conferences (around 20-30 days of travel per year, primarily in Europe and the US).

Key for success in this role is effective cooperation with stakeholders ranging from end-users, resellers, partners, sales, marketing, other 3Shape engineering teams and executive management.

Qualifications

• A background in science, engineering, innovation, or technology at a MSc level and with solid work experience from a similar role. The position can be scoped as a senior position for more experienced candidates.

• Understanding and experience with product management of software.
• Flair for technology, user experience and the ability to translate customer and market needs into successful products.
• An open and curious mind looking to explore a rapidly changing industry.
• Ability to work in a complex business environment and maintain the interests, goals, and priorities from many stakeholders.
• Strong communicator that can identify important elements in complex issues and present them effectively using written, verbal, and visual communication.
• Highly self-motivated and able to build strong relationships to customers and partners.
• A great team player who is energized by interacting and collaborating cross-functionally with many different personalities and backgrounds.
• Knowledge about dental products or markets will be an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional major languages will be considered a plus.
