At 3Shape our aim is to lead digital dentistry and improve the lives of our customers. We are looking for a driven Senior Business Development Manager with a strong analytical mindset and commercial acumen.
Position and responsibilities
As Senior Business Development Manager, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring 3Shape’s continuous growth in Region Europe by designing and delivering commercial best practice, projects, and business cases/investment plans. On a more operational level, you will also be instrumental in developing and anchoring a performance management mindset through forecasting and ongoing performance discussions with the country managers.
You will report to the Vice President, Head of Region Europe, and act as a business partner to HQ group functions, countries in the region and the rest of the executive management team in 3Shape. It is expected you can identify opportunities and challenges in the markets and deliver solid recommendations for how to overcome such. Further, it is expected you can help shape the strategy for the Region, both short and long term. Last, your responsibility will be, in conjunction with the finance business partner, to further develop a performance management mindset through thorough reporting and governance processes.

Our Senior Business Development Manager will be given the following responsibilities:
Develop and drive commercial strategy, projects, and programs across Region Europe
Act as partner to the countries 30-50 days of travel within Europe per year to meet with your country stakeholders
Build the foundation for a more proactive performance management mindset
Ensure scope, purpose, deliverables, and success criteria(s) are always clearly defined and aligned amongst all stakeholders
Describe the required resource needs and to continuously make sure roadblocks are not met
We are looking for a person that holds the ability to develop a good working relationship and will be able to get buy in from key stakeholders across the organization. This includes alignment of internal resources.
Ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience from either management consulting or a corporate commercial excellence role, ideally also experience from a commercial role
Experience from both a subsidiary and a headquarters role is considered a plus
Strong analytical toolbox and sound problem-solving skills
Solid project management skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken) – ideally combined with one more language
IT skills required super user of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
