Training (Academy) Administrator

Summary/Objectives: As part of 3Shape Academy, the Training (Academy) Administrator is responsible for organizing the use of 3Shape KOLs for education programs and activities targeted to customers, 3Shape employees and resellers. You will be tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. In addition, you will be responsible for the successful operational implantation of these programs.

Essential functions:

  • Organize North America Academy educational programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Work with other departments, specifically North America marketing, to develop educational plans for the Academy programs.
  • Develop an evaluation method and monitor to assess Academy program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of Academy program status throughout its life cycle. Report observations, findings, and recommendations to management.
  • Maintain Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships and continuing education through effective and timely communications.
  • Manage and adheres to guidelines set by certification programs.
  • Work directly with KOLs and 3Shape product specialists to create Academy program content and strategy.
  • Establish framework for “plug and play” Academy programs.
  • Support training activities and events at the North American Headquarters
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing duties and assignments.
  • Manage and submit expenses for reimbursement according to company policy.
  • Provide support to the Academy Operations Manager

 

Essential Competencies:

  • Clinical Acumen- the individual must be able to understand the dental workflow and fundamentals of clinical dentistry

  • Strong Communicator- Must be able to provide clear, concise and professional feedback both written and verbal to a variety of audiences.
  • Detail Oriented- Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively. High-level multitasking and organization skills
  • Global Mindset- Must be able to understand and effectively work across cultural boundaries.
  • Relationship Oriented- Able to establish effective, strong partnerships with all levels and all roles, but inside and outside the company
  • Technologically Savvy- Able to work with, understand and embrace changes in technology
  • Ethical Conduct- Takes accountability for decisions, makes decision that clearly adhere to an ethical standard
  • Adaptable- Must be open to change and adjustments when and where needed
  • Demonstrated competence in the use of Microsoft Office applications, with a high level of proficiency in Outlook and PowerPoint

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • College degree in business administration, management, or communications or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years administrative experience demonstrating strong project management capabilities.
  • 2+ years’ experience in the dental industry preferred
  • Continuing education program management preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint are critical
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English fluently.

 

Work Environment:

This is a home-office position but needs to be able to frequently travel into the New Providence, NJ facility, thus the individual needs to reside in a reasonable commuting distance from the NJ office.
